Tattar onboard for 3 more years
Kristin Tattar is one of the worlds best disc golfers. She is also an exceptional ambassador for Latitude 64° and for the sport of disc golf. We are happy to announce that Kristin Tattar will continue with Team Latitude 64° for 2020, 2021 and 2022.
“Being a professional disc golfer has been a dream of mine ever since I started playing and now that I’ve signed a 3-year contract with Latitude 64, I feel like I’ve been given the opportunity to do what I’ve always wanted, to focus on disc golf full time. I’m extremely excited to see what the future will bring”, Kristin says.
So are we. Kristin started playing disc golf 2014 and has been playing better and better for every year, and she has been using Swedish plastic since the start.
“I love that Trilogy has a wide selection of discs. Doesn’t matter what skill level you have, you most certainly find discs that you like! I’ve found my favorite molds and I can’t imagine playing without them. In addition to that, I love the consistency of the discs. So if I were to lose one, then I know a new one will fly the same.”
This fall Kristin travelled together with fellow Estonians Silver Lätt and Albert Tamm to the US to tour. There Kristin proved that she is one of the worlds best disc golfers as she won both the Canadian Championships as the US Women Disc Golf Championships. We wonder what 2020 has in store for her …
Kristin, do you have any exciting plans to share about your next season?
“Next year I’ll be making more trips over to the US, so I can be part of bigger events, but I’ll also try to fit in Eurotour events in my schedule. I think it is important as a European player, to also be present at events near home. I hope that inspires more Europeans to dream bigger and play more disc golf – you don’t always have to move to the US to be a professional disc golfer.”
What’s your goals and dreams with disc golf for the future?
“I’ve always been dreaming big and I will continue to do so. I will be working hard on becoming the best athlete I can be and I’m excited to see where it gets me.”
What’s the best part of being in Team Latitude 64°?
“I think Latitude 64 has great representatives out there and I’m honored to be one of them!”
