The Latitude 64° family is excited to have reigning MP50 World Champion JohnE McCray on the team for 2023. JohnE has been with our team since 2015, and we are excited to continue to build our partnership with him for another year!

JohnE has big plans for 2023. He plans on returning to several regional Disc Golf Pro Tour events while also being at most of the new Disc Golf Masters Tour. Don’t be surprised if you see him competing in a few different divisions, as he plans on tackling events in MPO, MP40, and MP50 this year! When talking about his season, JohnE is most excited about US Masters in Eugene, OR. JohnE said, “The Tim Selinske event is a very special event year after year, and the course looks amazing.”

Not only has JohnE been with Latitude 64° through several World Championship wins, but he also has been with the team through some pretty significant health events as well. When talking with JohnE about what he loves most about Latitude, he wanted to reflect on this past year and what had happened in his life. He had the following to say, “When I had my heart attack in February of ’22, they stayed right there by my side supporting me as if I was still on tour. That showed me that I wasn’t just a representative of the company, it showed me I am part of their family.” He continued to say, “ I feel at home being with Latitude 64° and enjoy the best Disc golf products in the market.”

We feel the same way and are excited to have his experience and expertise at the top of our Team. With his World Championship and continued success comes a Team Series disc. For 2023 JohnE will have an Orbit Fuse. JohnE chose the Fuse because he sees it as “the most versatile disc on the market. It’s easy for beginners to throw as well as a seasoned veteran of the game.” You will be able to find JohnE’s disc at the Latitude 64° Factory Store and your local retailers in the spring.
