DISC GOLF GOALS

“My goals for my career in disc golf are to get my rating at or above 950, have a signature disc or two. I would also love to win at least 5 pro tour events and live in an RV so I may travel the country and play everyday. The idea of winning worlds seems crazy but it’s certainly something I would love to achieve. I want above all to be an inspiration to other women to get out and play disc golf.”

BEGINNER TIPS

“Grab your nearest putter and just learn how to throw it. Practice multiple skill sets with the putter and even throwing it off the tee. The slow speed and tendency to follow the flight you release on will let you know where there may be issues with your release or form. The fact that it’s slower will force you to worry less about distance and more about proper form and spin – then the distance and accuracy will follow.”
