Worlds: McCray with a flying start

The first round of the PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships has been played. JohnE McCray on Team Latitude 64° got off to a flying start. With a -12 under par round he sits 3 shots ahead of the competition. McCray, 45 years old, already has a World Champion title in Masters division under his belt. But his results the last couple of years certainly proves that he has what it takes to win the Open title. And he took some time off touring for extra preparation and practice the Worlds courses.

“I’ve only got a few more years to attempt this in the Open division, so I have to take advantage of everything I can. So I took a little more time and got a little more practice in out here,” McCray said to Discgolf Ultiworld. (link to full article here)
